My old roommates boy friend wanted to fix me up with his friend. I did not like her boyfriend so I knew I wouldn't like his friend. So I left my house. After a couple of hours I can back. My date walked in the door, blonde hair, blue eyes, heavy metal type (I was the punk type). Well my mouth dropped open & 24 yrs later I am still with my blind date happily married.

I was at a time in my life that I was sick of the dating scene and wanted to do something more meaningful with my life. I decided to join Big Brothers and Big Sisters. We were living inCalifornia at the time. They had a group that worked on fundraisers that met once a month. My first meeting, I sat across from This wonderful guy and we talked all evening like best friends. I left that night knowing that I wanted him in my life. He was so different from my usual type but in a really good way. My mom met him and said he didn't seem like my type, I told her, true but that's a good thing. We fel in love and he proposed 8 months after we met. We have been married 21 years and have two great daughters and I'm as happy as ever.

Buddy and I was passing by Daytona beach and stopped to check it out. Driven on the beach we passed two girls with va tags,I said did you see those girls,yes. We passed again and turned around to talk to them. They were from Newport News . We talked a bit, told them were we were stayin and said bye.Later that night they found us, and what a night it was!! Went across the state with them the next day , had great time. Said goodbye thinking never to here from again. A week later they called and wanted to hook up, we were still in fla they in va. Well long story short, buddy and his lasted about a year, my wife and I have been together for 26 years ,three children, two dogs and a cat.thats how I meet my best friend.

We worked at the same store he was my store three years we worked on the chkd fund raiser and the race we have every year the first time I seen my body just melt his eyes was wonderful.

My cousin told my now boyfriend to "friend me" on FB. I didn't know him but we had a mutual friend which was my cousin. He swore he didn't know him. I accepted his friend request we chatted back and forth for a few minutes and he wanted me to call him. I did and we made arrangements to meet the night and go to my cousins. I went to dinner with my parents and text him all through dinner. When I went to pick him up he got in the car and was smoking so I fussed at him for that before he could even see my face. We talked like we had known each other all our lives. In all that talking we realized we should have crossed paths before then because we went to the same school, knew the same people, I was in the same grade as his brother and his older sister was one grade ahead of me, we lived a few blocks away from each other. It's crazy we never met. But that was September 12th we saw each other every day that week. Until September 17th. He already had a "friend" date arranged before we started talking. So he went out with her (nothing happened HAHA) and we have been together ever since. He is the love of my life!

My husband and I met at our parents wedding. He was living in Fla. Me, in N.C. I got our parents together and a year later they decided to get married. He came up for the wedding to be best man and we immediately connected. He asked me to marry him within 2 months. I thought he was nuts. So after dating long distance for 4 years, I asked him to marry me.
